• Managing the construction tendering process including providing the Lessor or client with three quotations for consideration;
• Assisting in the selection of an appropriate builder/tradesmen;
• Liaising with private certifiers and council for approvals and permits;
• Providing guidance and acting as the primary contact for builders and tradesmen through all aspects of the project works;
• Managing authority approvals;
• Managing the selected consultancy team;
• Attending and Chairing regular site meetings;
• Managing sign offs;
• Receiving cost information from subcontractors, analysing the information into a spreadsheet, and calculating the costs and profits;
• Managing all invoices to confirm works are performed, completed, and as per quotation before forwarding on for processing and payment;
• Managing and controlling the head contract including administration activities, variations, financial costs information, progress claims, and final accounts;
• Monitoring variation submissions and ensuring they are justified and competitive.
• Carrying out defects inspections on behalf of the Lessor post completion and confirming any defects are rectified in a timely manner.
